Prospective Peasant is a slow food blog dedicated to enhancing our food culture in the United States. Peasant cooking is anything but easy. It takes time, effort, energy and forethought. It’s healthy, whole food without boxed or commercially preserved shortcuts. I want my home to be centered around the kitchen and good food- a peasant kitchen.
I have a PP husband, 2 PP cats and a PP dog. I live in a place of abundant farm fresh food and rain. I love to hike and yoga and cook for food-loving people.
I’m also a high school French teacher for 180 days per year.
